The approach to build an impactful MVP

Taking care of your mental health is expensive and not accesible to everyone. People often feel helpless and frustrated, unsure where to start or how to create healthy habits towards a better you.

 

The first workshop with this team of experts is to understand the mental health industry, their vision, strategy and goals. Collecting and working through the relationship and practice resources.

This provides clarity into defining and deciding on scope and timelines for MVP launch.

Initial research conducted through Remble core team, I’ve analysed the research and identified the insights which informed 3 main user groups and their scenarios, needs, pains and opportunities.

We conducted a persona building workshop where we dot-voted on priorities and fleshed out uncertainties.

Now that we have a clear understanding of our users, we need to identify core priorities.

To make sure we are designing the appropriate solution we need to map out the “why” behind the need and by implementing the hook model it help us understand what we need to focus on. This prevents us from falling into solving with feature first mindset.

To determine the MVP I’ve defined the problem and use cases, mapped it out in a flow diagram.

 

Post MVP Improvements

After launch we had the opportunity to gain more insights about the behaviour of users, I’ve conducted a discovery workshop to validate our early assumptions and define our next goals.
